YOU CAN KNOW YOUR BEST SELF BETTER EACH DAY.
II am passionate about the diversity and dignity of us as humans, and honor the unique and wonderful nature of each person. My experiences as a trauma and abuse survivor, as well as the honor of knowing those who have faced adversity and challenges in this world, has given me the respect and knowledge to witness, process, and move forward from difficult times. I have worked with the under-housed and those with a history of incarceration, and had the honor to advocate for them. I endeavor to be an ally and friend to my LGBTQIA+ chosen family, and find joy in the new paths they have found. My hope is to help you share your story, and be welcoming and open tp life safely, and on your terms.
As a guide and advocate for you, my approach is founded in what works for each unique person; you are able to claim your own experience with the help of established safety and unconditional regard for your boundaries, goals, and ambitions. I employ the use of EMDR, Seeking Safety, and CBT, and am open and willing to engage as needed and desired by those with whom I work. My work is evidence based and follows your chosen journey.
I believe in the beauty of a curious soul, one that seeks to experience and understand the complexity of joy that life has to offer.
My approaches to therapy and mental health care.
-
When we feel the loss of a loved one, human or animal, we experience complex and at times overwhelming emotions. There is a great need for therapy following loss, and grief never realy ends, but it can be both healing and manageable with the right kind of support. Grief is how we honor those we have lost, and the process of grieving takes hard work. My approach is centered on your experiences and needs, as we seek to find the meaning, growth, and beauty of remembrance.

My belief is that, while a wide spectrum of sexuality and gender expressions have existed since humans first came to be, it is still difficult to navigate life in a sociey that can be unaccepting, intolerant, and even hostile to people unlike themselves. Self-discovery and self-love is of the highest importance in my work, and the need for safety is primary in my approach. I hope to enable my LGBTQIA+ clients to feel the vry bes about themselves and their needs, wants, and dreams. No one should have to travel their journey alone.

The need to develop and nurture intimacy in our lives is fundamental to our growth as compete and happy peole. I come from a background wherein I have experienced both monogamous and ENM relationships; and while I may differ in my preferences from my clients, I will not judge or condemn any practic or desires, as long as it is consensual and causing no unwanted harm. Your safety is critical to this work, and as we create a safe environment, you can move forward towards enriching, fulfilling, and joyus expressions of passion and love.
